My passion for business started young, when I would be playing office and selling things to people. I would create forms to fill out and old business items like credit cards and phones to you know....have the "proper" office equipment for my playtime.
When I was 11 years old. I learned to crochet and then started making items to sell. Through crocheting and diligently saving, I actually was able to buy my first car with cash!
I’ve always been an entrepreneur at heart...with a big vision of owning my own business. I bought my first car with cash that I saved from selling crocheting items as a hobby. From there I started teaching piano from my home!
My love of creating product or services to sell has never stopped. I’ve done many things over the years, included but not limited to: sewing, quilting, event coordinating, Network Marketing, teaching piano lessons, and more!
I truly enjoy helping people and providing a good quality service or quality product.
Being an entrepreneur is a true adventure. There are lots of up and downs, everything from will people like this product? To the excitement of launching a new product or service. Is this priced right for the consumer to am I making or loosing money by selling my stuff.
It is very fun to create a new product, service or figure out a new way to best serve people.
As a small business, you the entrepreneur does it all. Marketing, creating, designing, follow up, books, shipping, sales, you name it, I've done it.
Over the years, I have done a variety of things. I've made intentional businesses, accidental businesses, online businesses, in-person businesses, I've used store front and sold from my closet. In all of these I've learned a lot of lessons. I've enjoyed each experience and feel like they have helped shape me into the person I am today.
I will say that my favorite type of business I have ran so far is service-based. While I love making and creating products, my favorite is serving people. It's wonderful to be able to encourage people to meet their goals. If their goals are starting a business of their own and you consult them. Maybe it's learning piano and you get to show them how to play. Or helping someone meet their wellness goals.
At the end of the day, you just have to go for it. Put yourself out there. Wake up each day looking for how you can best serve the people around you.
I wouldn't change anything. I am so grateful to be an entrepreneur.
I love getting to help people meet their personal needs through my business.
